Tim Moore was named St. Andrew’s Head of Middle School in 2023, previously serving as Middle School Dean of Students from 2014-2022 and Interim Head of Middle School from 2022-2023.
While serving as Dean, he created an extensive student leadership program, providing students opportunities to lead through a house system and numerous student organizations. He also created and taught Project Citizen, a capstone project that encourages active citizenship through community engagement. Both of these initiatives are now hallmarks of our Middle School program.
Prior to arriving at St. Andrew’s, Mr. Moore served as 7th and 8th grade Dean of Students at the Randolph School in Huntsville, Alabama, where he also taught history and was an award winning varsity basketball and tennis coach.
Tim’s passion and leadership helps make St. Andrew’s Middle School a place where students want to be each and every day, where they can expand on their natural curiosities about the world around them, and where they can feel a true sense of inclusion and belonging.
