The girls soccer program has enjoyed a resurgence in numbers over the past couple of seasons.
The program starts in Middle School, where there is a team comprised of 6th-8th graders. That team plays mostly local competition, with occasional travel to Dallas, Ft. Worth, or Houston to play SPC middle school teams. The middle school team plays 10-12 times per season and home games are played on the Upper School campus.
At the Upper School level, there is both a Varsity and Junior Varsity team. The Varsity team plays in the South Zone of the Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC). The South Zone includes Austin and Houston schools. The varsity team typically plays 20 games per season that run during the winter months. We play a number of non-conference games against schools from San Antonio and the Austin area.
The girls soccer program strives to nurture and develop committed competitive student athletes who see themselves as critical and strategic thinkers on and off the field of contest.
Several players from our girls’ soccer program have gone on to play collegiately, including the University of Texas and Vanderbilt University.
