Texas Youth and Government - Legislative

In the Legislative section of the YMCA Texas Youth and Government program, participants write original mock legislative bills and debate the bills with other students at district and state conferences. Participants go through a mock legislative process trying to get their bill passed to be a law. In the club, participants will learn more about the legislative process and bill writing, research and write their bill, and practice debating their bill for the conference.

Meets once per week.
