Middle School Art Students Place in Scholastic Art Awards
The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards received over 1400 submissions from 7th and 8th grade artists in the Austin region.
We are excited to share that four St. Andrew's middle school students received honors Art category!
The winners are:
Cate Keiber, 8th grade, honorable mention in drawing and illustration for her untitled still life drawing.
Francie Bowles, 7th grade, honorable mention in drawing and illustration for her drawing Happy.
Crosby Averill, 8th grade, silver medal in drawing and illustration for his drawing, Mellow.
Leena Abdallah, 8th grade, silver medal in film for her work, Tree Animation.
